The Kent Downtown Partnership announces the Downtown Kent Wine Walk, Friday, October 7, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

Downtown Kent businesses will partner with boutique wineries to host another fantastic night of tasting bold reds, crisp whites and live music.  “This is great time to stock up on your favorite wines for the Fall season ahead” commented Gaila Haas, Executive Director of the Kent Downtown Partnership.

The experience starts at Sweet Themes Bakery where you’ll pick up everything you need for your evening of fun; from there you’ll begin the self-guided tour to participating businesses to enjoy samplings.   Sip, shop small and socialize on a lovely Fall evening.

Visitors are encouraged to come early to get acquainted with what our downtown restaurants have to offer.  Explore the diverse flavors of Kent on the downtown “food trail,” including Sushi, African, Thai, Mexican, bistros, and pubs.

LIVE MUSIC: Featuring the Billy Brandt, a singer with a soulful voice and accomplished guitarist whose music has working class appeal that radiates masculine charm and Chutzpah.

Shops and restaurants will be open to the public; wine tasting requires a ticket and 21+ age verification.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Kent Downtown Partnership and go towards future programs and projects in Historic Downtown Kent.
