Iranian Daf Music Workshop

Presented by Washington State Parks Folk & Traditional Arts Program and Arbutus Folk School
Free, Ages 12+. No registration required – Seating is available for up to 45 people.
Join guest artists Jan and Tovas Porvas of Tora’dan for a free 1.5-hour workshop to learn about and enjoy the Iranian Daf. Daf is a Middle Eastern frame drum musical instrument in use for thousands of years, both for popular and classical music in South and Central Asia as well as the Middle East and beyond.
Annual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance.
