Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation maintains its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Auburn residents and playing a significant role in shaping the character of the City through our services. The Department manages 600+ acres of park land including 32 parks with unique playgrounds, athletic fields, trails and picnic shelters as well as the Auburn Community and Event Center, the REC Teen Center, Auburn Golf Course, White River Valley Museum and historic Mary Olson Farm, Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn Ave Theater, Auburn Senior Center, Auburn Farmers Market as well as numerous award winning community events. We truly offer something for everybody. During 2021, we continued to navigate the challenges of a pandemic and successfully adapted, pivoted, modified, and re-tooled as needed to bring programs, activities, events and public projects to the Auburn community.
