She Bends Redefining Neon Legacy
Opens February 11 through Fall 2023
She Bends explores the evolution of the neon trade from commercial signage to fine art as the practitioners of these skills become younger and more diverse.
Redefining Neon Legacy features women and gender-expansive artists of historically under-represented communities in neon alongside the women who taught them.
The exhibition includes works by Sarah Blood, Carissa Grace, Kacie Lees, Stephanie Lifshutz, Victoria Ahmadizadeh Melendez, Lily Reeves Montgomery, Meryl Pataky, Daniella Thach, and Jude Abu Zaineh.
