Veterans Day Celebration
November 10, 3 – 5pm
Hot Shop Heroes participants will give live glassblowing demonstrations in the Hot Shop from 10am-1pm.Join Museum of Glass for a special Veterans Day Celebration, featuring free admission all day for veterans, active-duty military, and their families. The celebration program will include a color guard ceremony, the awarding of certificates to honor Hot Shop Heroes program participants, and Guest speaker and artist Charles Burt.
Burt, an army veteran, currently serves as the Veterans Art Coordinator for Lakewold Gardens Veterans Art Center, leading biweekly group painting sessions in Lakewood, Washington. To find out more, go to lakewoldgardens.org/veteransartcenter.
