Northwest Sinfonietta’s festive season opens with Juan Pablo Contreras’ joyful homage to mariachi music, Mariachitlán, the world premiere of Roupen Shakarian’s delightful Oboe Concerto served with a complimentary flight of wines and munchies, and opera favorites from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus with the PLU Opera Chorus and soloists Jennifer Krikawa, Ivy Zhao and Andrew Etherington.
