East Pierce County’s glitziest guests turned out to the Washington State Fair ShowPlex, a venue transformed with a crystal beaded chandelier, elegant draping and flowers galore.
More than 400 Corks & Crush guests sampled pours from partnering wineries before Good Samaritan Foundation’s annual event got underway. Former Good Samaritan Regional Rehabilitation Center patient Ken Stancato also took to the stage, crediting his care team with saving his life. Then the Fund-A-Need video played, featuring rehabilitative journeys, as well as Carlos’ Mary Bridge Good Samaritan Children’s
Therapy Unit (CTU) experience.
Incredible community members helped raise $911,000 in support of the CTU and inpatient rehab at the MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital campus.
