The biggest party in the state returns, September 1-24. The 20-day Washington State Fair in Puyallup offers something for everyone in the family, from eats and treats, to thrills and squeals. The Fair offers an abundance of free entertainment on multiple stages, exhibits including The Farm at SillyVille, Piglet Palace, floral, animal exhibits and much more!
Here are a slew highlights, special attractions and new fun:
NEW RIDE! REVOLUTION 360
The Revolution 360 will bring thrills & squeals, as riders swing on this new pendulum ride! The 120-degree tilt and 360-degree rotation will make this addition to our Midway a spectacular show for guests on board and below!
Bee Box
Explore the world of bees and the essential roles they play in agriculture. Located in The Farm at SillyVille.
Survival. Expedition
Immersive wilderness adventure from the rainforest o the mountains. Investigate, play, build, collect and climb your way to becoming the ultimate survival expert. Cost: $9, ages 3+ (buy online on on-site).
NEW FOOD!
Don’t miss The Big Cheese, an entire booth dedicated to everything cheesy, including cheddar soft serve ice cream! Oyster Bay, Flaco’s Tacos and Churreria (churros) make their Washington State Fair debut, after first making an appearance at The Taste NW in July.
The Fair offers special dates this year on the first two Fridays. On Sept. 1, guests get free admission from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with a suggested food donation to benefit the Puyallup Food Bank. On Sept. 8, following the downtown Puyallup cattle drive and parade, guests get free admission with suggested school supply donations to benefit Communities and Schools, also 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Each Monday of the Fair, is Military Appreciation Day. Gate admission is free to all active, reserve and retired military and National Guard and their dependents, plus disabled veterans, when each shows valid military ID at any Fair gate.
The Washington State Fair also brings top-named artists to its Grandstand for 20 days of music and comedy. This year’s lineup includes Kane Brown, The Temptations, Chicago, Jeff Foxworthy and many more!
And we can’t forget about 4 days of non-stop action with the Puyallup Rodeo. The top 24 contestants from the Playoff Series will compete at the Puyallup Rodeo with the top four from Puyallup and the top eight out of the standings of the Playoff Series presented by Pendleton Whisky advancing to the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls South Dakota. Don’t miss a minute of this edge-of-your-seat action featuring the best rodeo talent in the nation.
