ShowCase Magazine is delighted to announce the opening of Waxing the City at Sunrise Village in Puyallup. We caught up with the owner of the new location to share her ideas here.
What is your passion and why are you opening this new business? People are my passion. I have always loved to help people in any way possible, as a barista working at Starbucks connecting through a simple cup of coffee served with a smile, as a wedding and floral designer, as a fitness instructor helping people achieve their goals and live a healthier life. Keeping people looking and feeling their best is my goal. Confidence is built from the inside out. We help people every day feel and look their best, one Waxing the City appointment at a time. We’re changing lives through genuine love, care and connection.
How do you hope to help your clients and the community? From the moment you walk into Waxing the City, you will see and feel the difference. You will be greeted at the door with a warm smile by our studio coordinator and that’s just the beginning. From start to finish, our customers will feel as if there is no one else and they are the most important person in the world.
What, or who, inspires you? My husband is my biggest inspiration. He inspires me every day to do the unthinkable. Don’t take no for an answer. Keep trying and you will find a way. It may take a different strategy, but keep trying.
What should readers know about Waxing the City? As an exclusive studio devoted solely to the art of waxing, Waxing the City is “serious about smooth.” We offer everything from eyebrows to Brazilian waxing services for both women and men.
To book an appointment, log in to Facebook or call 253-446-6906. The studio coordinator will assist you to ensure that your waxing needs are met.
