Asia Pacific Cultural Center Presents Samoa Cultural Days

Each year, Samoa Cultural Days brings together families, cultural groups, artists, and community leaders for a multi-day experience rooted in heritage, unity, and celebration. As part of APCC’s mission to uplift and share the diverse cultures of the Asia Pacific region, this event offers a meaningful opportunity for the community to engage with authentic traditions passed down through generations.
A Living Celebration of Samoan Culture
Rooted in tradition, the celebration reflects the essence of Fa’a Samoa—the Samoan way of life—through:
-
Traditional dance and music performances
-
Cultural demonstrations and storytelling
-
Arts, crafts, and hands-on activities
-
Authentic Samoan cuisine
-
Community fellowship and shared experiences
As highlighted in previous years, the event often features ceremonial elements such as the Ava Welcome Ceremony, village-style activities, and cultural showcases that bring the richness of Polynesian heritage to life.
This year’s programming continues the tradition of multi-day engagement, offering something for all ages:
An evening of connection and celebration, the Community Banquet brings together families, leaders, and honored guests. This gathering highlights the strength of the Samoan community while celebrating culture through food, storytelling, and entertainment.
Friday, July 24 – Samoa Youth Gospel Night
A powerful and uplifting evening featuring youth performers sharing their talents through gospel music and praise. This event continues APCC’s commitment to empowering the next generation while honoring faith and cultural identity.
Saturday, July 25 – Tanoa Festival
The weekend culminates in the Tanoa Festival, a vibrant outdoor celebration filled with live performances, cultural exhibitions, food vendors, and community engagement. This festival reflects the energy and pride of Pacific Island traditions in a dynamic, family-friendly environment.
A Tradition That Continues to Grow
Mark your calendars for July 23–25, 2026, and be part of this unforgettable cultural experience.
