The Olympia Farmers Market is thrilled to announce the return of the “High Season” schedule, commencing on Thursday, April 4. Opening its gates from Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Market is poised to offer an expanded array of fresh, local produce, artisanal foods, and handmade crafts.
Kicking off the season in style, the Market will welcome Olympia Mayor Dontae Payne to ring the opening day bell on April 4.
Isabel Thomas, Interim Market Director of the Olympia Farmers Market, expressed excitement, stating, “As we enter into the Spring Season, we can expect to see the return of many seasonal farms who only sell at the Market during High Season and an increase of fresh local produce.”
Embracing inclusivity and gratitude, the Market resumes Senior Day on Thursdays, extending special discounts to patrons aged 55 and above. Nora Hantula, Administrative Manager, emphasized, “Our senior customers are among our most loyal supporters, and we want to express our appreciation for their continued patronage.”
While the Market remained open on Saturdays during the winter months, April heralds the official start of the growing season, promising the arrival of even more vendors offering Washington-grown fruits and vegetables, artisanal foods, and handmade crafts. Whether customers seek ingredients for their next culinary masterpiece or a unique gift, the Market boasts something for every taste and preference.
