Expedition Dinosaur: Rise of the Mammals is an immersive, interactive journey through the prehistoric past, exploring the incredible story of life before and after the asteroid impact that changed Earth forever.
Don’t miss the NW Artisan Market – Shop handmade one-of-a-kind items and watch as art is created! Live demonstrations every day including pottery throwing, painting, jewelry making and drawing. Talk with the local artists as they create beautiful works of art you can buy. You can also get tips on those crafts you would like to try yourself!
The Farm at SillyVille – Washington’s food and farming story: a free, exciting, hands-on exhibit at the Washington State Fair that connects kids and families to the state’s agriculture industry, the farmers that produce the food we eat and the connection to healthy eating choices. Engaging children in agriculture through play. From feeding chickens to harvesting vegetables, The Farm at SillyVille is a “farmer for a day” experience in a highly stylized environment that teaches young children farming concepts by igniting their imaginations in this 1.5-acre farm. Through this inventive and educational exhibit, they will gain an understanding of where their food comes from, who grows their food and how to make healthy food choices.
Building the Next 125 Years – Explore the exciting future of the Washington State Fair Event Center, as we build for the next 125 years! Check out the impressive construction equipment being used to renovate the venue and view large displays showcasing renderings and photos of upcoming improvements, including The 1900 Food Hall & Rooftop Bar and Gold Gate entrance.
