The Rants Group is pleased and proud to commemorate its 50th year of serving Thurston County. The third-generation, family-owned business has cultivated a highly experienced team intimately connected to the community. The expertise extends from property management to brokerage services to development and investment and all the details in-between. Emphasis on client trust drives the hyper-local focus.
Fifty years ago, founder Ron Rants started a property management company called Evergreen Olympic Properties. The business flourished and evolved to include a full-service commercial and investment firm that offers sales, leasing, and development services along with property management.
Ownership and management of the company remains in the family. In 2005, Ron’s son, Pat Rants, took the helm as President. Pat’s daughter, Danielle Rants, was designated Vice President in 2019. You might meet any one of them during a business day at their location in the Market Place Office Building by the port.
The Rants Group distinguishes itself by its longevity and community action. “Companies come and go. Our real estate investment firm is here and still on top of that market,” says Danielle. “My days are filled working with clients and helping with operations to become better and more efficient.”
Founder Ron Rants has led by example, encouraging his family and team to be active with community organizations. Members of the company sit on boards or committees for Providence St. Peter Hospital Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County, YWCA, Community Youth Services, and St. Martins University, to name a few.
Over time, real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated, whether it is a residential or commercial lease or sale. Knowledge is power. Hiring professionals can save you time, money, and headaches. Many agents at The Rants Group have earned the CCIM designation. The Certified Commercial Investment Member requires education, experience, and testing.
People are looking for ways to invest and protect their financial assets. The Rants Group is on hand for your investment groups, sales, and management teams. “Consistency and stability are important when we are managing people’s properties,” says Pat.
“The best is still coming,” says Ron as he looks to the future. Work with The Rants Group for your real estate needs.
