Looking for food and fun ? The Taste Northwest returns to the Washington State Fair Events Center, June 28–30, 2024. Presented by Emerald Queen Casino, the South Sound’s ultimate food and music festival is free, and celebrates local and international cuisine.
The Taste NW is more than just a celebration of food – it’s a melting pot of local and international cuisine, showcasing the best of what the South Sound has to offer. This FREE event features 150+ food and marketplace vendors, five stages with live entertainment and comedy, local chef cook-off battles, outdoor beer gardens, activities in The Square, rides & more!
- 70+ Food Vendors! Experience a world of flavors from an array of regional restaurants and food trucks. Plus, most vendors will offer $5 tastes, so you can sample your way through the event
- Live Entertainment & Comedy! Enjoy live performances from local artists on several stages including in the Grandstand (Mainstage sponsored by Toyota). Head to the Comedy Stage for a laugh-filled weekend, presented by Tacoma Comedy Club
- Beer Gardens & Tastings! Discover new flavors and enjoy beer, cider, wine or specialty cocktails at five beer garden and pub locations. Taste through a selection of four hand-selected tequilas at our “tequila tent” inside the Mainstage Bar. Enjoy a large selection of beer and cider from some of the Pacific Northwest’s best craft breweries and cideries, on Saturday and Sunday (9 tastes for $35)
- The Square! Make memories in the Square with activities for all ages. Head down the slide, bounce in the jump zone, test your axe throwing and putt-putt golf skills and compete in virtual reality gaming (Presented by BECU and Merry Makers)
- Rides! New this year: more rides! Squeal and thrill on 10 rides, including Sinbad, Scooters, Zero Gravity, Dragon Wagon and more

- The Museum of Glass Mobile Hot Shop! Be mesmerized at this glass-blowing experience where artists show off their creative skills right in of your eyes
