This summer kick-off features 150+ food and shopping vendors, four stages with live music, comedy and chef battles, plus five bars including PNW craft beer and cider tasting, the Margarita Bar and The 1900 Rooftop Bar. The Washington State Fair Event Center recently celebrated 125 years of creating extraordinary moments! Since 1900, we’ve welcomed guests to cultivate unforgettable experiences and lasting traditions. The Washington State Fair Event Center is the largest event center in the state. We produce five signature events annually, including the end of summer 20-day Washington State Fair, one of the largest in the country. The 6-day Spring Fair occurs each April as a celebration of the season. In addition to the fairs, the event center produces The Taste Northwest, a food and drink-filled extravaganza in June, Oktoberfest Northwest, the state’s largest Munich-style celebration in October and Holiday Magic, a festive winter experience in December.
