Get ready to raise a glass (or a pie tin!) because the 12th Annual Cider Swig Festival is back at LeMay – America’s Car Museum on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with more flavor, more fun, and some exciting new family-friendly additions.
This year’s festival once again brings together the best of the Northwest’s craft beverage scene, featuring 130+ ciders from more than 30 regional cidermakers, plus a refreshing mix of mead, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic pours. Festivalgoers can sip, swirl, and savor while discovering their new favorites—and even take bottles home from the Pop-Up Bottle Shop.
But it’s not just about the sips. The Swig is a full-bodied experience, pairing great libations with live music, a mouthwatering lineup of food trucks, and a bustling kid’s market where young artisans and entrepreneurs feature their services and wares.
Friendly Rivalries & Festival Traditions
The competitions return in all their glory –
– The 2nd Annual Pommelier’s Choice Awards, highlighting the artistry of cider makers.
– The 10th Annual “Battle of the Pies”— where bakers of all ages vie for apple pie glory.
– The Midway, alive w/ festival classics like Hammerschlagen, Apfelweinkrug, the keg toss, a Human Slot Machine, and more!
New in 2025: Kid’s Market & Applet Activity Center
For the first time, Cider Swig is introducing the Kid’s Market, where young entrepreneurs (ages 6–17) showcase their creativity with handmade goods, tasty treats, and unique products. Families can also enjoy the Applet Activity Center, a lively space where kids 2–12 can craft, play, snack, and explore, thanks to Curious by Nature School staff.
These new additions make the Cider Swig more welcoming than ever, ensuring there’s something for every member of the family.
A Festival with a Mission
Since its launch in 2014, Cider Swig has been fueled by volunteers and community spirit, with every aspect of the festival run start to finish by volunteers. Proceeds benefit the Lu Winsor Memorial Environmental Grant Program, managed by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, which funds environmental education, habitat restoration, and conservation projects throughout the Key Peninsula–Gig Harbor–Islands watershed. To date, the festival has provided more than $375,000 in support to over two dozen organizations, schools, and agencies, helping to make lasting impacts from youth science camps to shoreline restoration and other projects aimed at improving the environmental health of Puget Sound.
A Celebration Worth Savoring
With thousands of attendees expected, the Cider Swig has grown into Washington’s largest one-day cider-centered celebration—a true toast to community, craft, and conservation.
So, gather your friends and family, mark your calendars, and prepare to swig, snack, and celebrate at the 12th Annual Cider Swig. Whether you come for the cider, the friendly rivalry in the Midway, the music, or the memories, one thing’s certain: this year’s festival will be crisp, bold, and unforgettable.
Each ticket provides a tasting glass, six drink vouchers, re-entry pass, live music and entertainment, as well as access to food trucks, a pop-up bottle shop, vendors, and all other festival activities. Additional tokens may be purchased at the festival.
Standard and VIP festival ticket packages are available. Annually the event sells out; advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.
