The Olympia Farmers Market is thrilled to announce the return of High Season schedule. Now open Thursday through Sunday, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Market invites the community to enjoy four full days each week of farm-fresh produce, artisanal foods, unique handmade goods, and vibrant community connection.
“As we enter into our 50th Market Season, we can expect to see the return of many seasonal farms who only sell at the Market during High Season and an increase of fresh local produce,” said Isabel Thomas, Market Director of the Olympia Farmers Market.
Thursdays also mark the return of Senior Day, offering special discounts to shoppers aged 55 and better. “Now more than ever, the Market is grateful for our senior shoppers and most loyal supporters. We aim to increase access to fresh nutritious food for all through programs like Senior Day and SNAP Market Match,” shared Jessie Hill, Outreach Coordinator.
Also this season we’re expanding our Thursday schedule to include Lunch & Learn pop-up sessions. These free educational events offer a taste of everything from seasonal cooking tips to gardening know-how and sustainable living practices—all while you enjoy lunch from one of the Market’s beloved eateries. While you’re there, visit the Market’s Outreach table to enter to win a gift basket filled with items from Market vendors—it’s free to enter and another way to say thank the community for their support.
Throughout the year, visit the Market for special events on weekends too. Save the date to celebrate National Farmers Market Week and the Market’s 50th Birthday the first week of August and join in celebrating local farms and producers.
While the Market remained open on Saturdays through winter, April marks the official start of the growing season, and with it, the return of even more farms and vendors offering the best of the Pacific Northwest. Whether you’re stocking up on fresh ingredients or shopping for the perfect handmade gift, there’s something for everyone at the Olympia Farmers Market.
