The Zoo Society’s Long Table Dinner & Auction, Wild Whispers, transported guests to the mysterious world of a 1920s speakeasy where wildlife, cocktails, and a little intrigue combined for an unforgettable evening. Guests gathered for a night of dining and celebration in support of the animals and programs at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
The event was a tremendous success, raising a total of $201,000 to support the zoo and its mission. A highlight of the evening was 120 guests all coming together to raise $103,000 to purchase a new animal transport vehicle for the zoo’s healthcare team. This specialized vehicle will help veterinary staff safely and efficiently transport animals, supporting timely medical care and improving animal welfare.
