The highly anticipated Cider Swig 2024 returns to LeMay – America’s Car Museum in Tacoma on Saturday, September 28th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (gates open at 11:30 AM for pre-ticketed attendees). This year’s event features an
exciting lineup of live music, local food vendors, competitions, and over 30 cideries, meaderies, and distilleries from across the Pacific Northwest.

Cider Swig will not only bring together an array of beverages but also a stellar lineup of live music to keep the festival lively and entertaining. The schedule includes:
- LiquidHorse (12:00 PM) – Original NW Country
- Angela Soffe Band (1:30 PM) – Foot-stomping Americana
- Joel Gibson Jr. (3:30 PM) – Country/Rock, “The Eclectic Outlaw”
Enjoy these performances while sampling some of the 130+ sips, and you’ll discover flavors from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, including local favorites like Gig Harbor’s Locust Cider and Tacoma’s Incline Cider. Plus, we’re thrilled to feature our “100% Club” cideries—those who’ve been with us from
the start—such as 2Towns Cider, Dragon’s Head Cider, Finnriver Farm & Cidery, and Pear UP Cider.

His Ohana Coffee – specialty coffees New Competitions and Fan Favorites This year’s Cider Swig also introduces two exciting new competitions: - Pommelier Choice Awards: Featuring a panel of Certified Pommeliers™, cider makers will compete for top honors in this brand-new competition. Over a dozen ciders have been entered into the officiated judging organized by Jessica Arlich and supported by fellow Pommeliers Ashley Wilson and Ava Davis.
- Battle of the Pies, Apple Pie Contest: Back for its 7th year, the much-loved pie contest invites bakers to compete for a chance to win Grand Champion and cash prizes.
Additionally, attendees can participate in the annual Midway area with games such as Hammerschlagen (nail driving), Apfelweinkrug (stein holding), and the Keg Toss for a chance to win gold, silver, and bronze medals!

All proceeds from Cider Swig benefit the Lu Winsor Environmental Fund, which provides grants for environmental education and conservation projects within the KGI watershed. Since 2013, over $350,000 in grants have been awarded to area school and nonprofit organizations for projects focused
on environmental education and stewardship in the South Puget Sound’s KGI Watershed.
